About the Role:
LeadAdvisors is looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to own our brand presence across LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and other relevant platforms. This is not a post-and-pray role. You will be an active participant in the communities where our clients, prospects, and industry peers spend time.
You will work directly with the content and marketing team to plan, publish, and engage - then track what's working and iterate. You know how each platform's algorithm behaves, why posting time matters, and the difference between a thread that starts a conversation and one that gets ignored. You stay current because the industry moves fast and you move with it.
This role is remote and requires someone who can operate independently. You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to show up with ideas, flag opportunities, and report on results without being asked twice.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management & Engagement:
- Build and manage LeadAdvisors' active presence on LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and other relevant forums and communities.
- Engage in threads, comment sections, and discussions - not just broadcasting, but actually participating in conversations.
- Monitor brand mentions, industry keywords, and competitor activity across platforms and surface relevant opportunities.
- Respond to comments and DMs in a tone that reflects the brand: direct, credible, operator-level.
Content Execution & Publishing:
- Plan and publish platform-native content - posts, carousels, short-form threads - optimized for each channel's format and audience.
- Work with the editorial calendar and coordinate with the content team on campaigns, launches, and ongoing brand initiatives.
- Apply platform best practices: timing, hashtags, tagging, posting cadence, and format per channel.
- Use AI tools to assist with content ideation, drafting, and workflow — prompt, review, and refine; not copy-paste.
Performance & Trend Tracking:
- Track engagement metrics, follower growth, and content performance across platforms and report on them regularly.
- Stay current on algorithm updates, platform changes, and emerging community trends — bring what you learn to the team.
- Identify what content formats and engagement tactics are performing and recommend adjustments based on data, not guesses.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Content Manager and Marketing Specialist on campaign execution and content alignment.
- Support reputation management efforts - flag review activity, surface relevant brand conversations, and assist with outreach when needed.
- Bring proactive ideas to the team - if you see an opportunity, speak up.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing social media or community presence professionally - not just personal profiles
- Proven experience operating on LinkedIn, Reddit, and X with a clear understanding of how each platform works and what performs
- Tech-comfortable: familiar with scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar), analytics dashboards, and content management workflows
- Strong written communication - clear, audience-aware, and direct.
- Self-directed and accountable: manages own workload, meets deadlines, escalates blockers early without daily check-ins.
- Curious and current - actively follows platform and industry updates and applies what you learn.
Preferred:
- Background in B2B marketing, lead generation, or the BPO/call center/digital marketing space.
- Experience with community-led growth, forum participation strategies, or thought leadership content.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Brevo, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated history of growing a brand community or professional audience from the ground up.
