Senior Content Writer - Guest Blogs & Authority Content

About the Job
LeadAdvisors is hiring a senior B2B content writer and guest blogger to build our authority with the people who buy outsourced revenue operations — owners, COOs, VPs of Sales and Marketing, and intake and lead-generation leaders across U.S. financial services.

We are an operator-led BPO and digital growth company. We help high-lead-volume businesses recover missed revenue and scale without operational chaos through BPO teams, contact-rate improvement, speed-to-lead systems, appointment setting, CRM follow-up, and QA/reporting.

This is not a volume-blogging role and it is not a backlink role. You will research real operational problems inside debt settlement, tax resolution, mortgage, insurance, lending, and lead-generation companies, develop a defensible point of view, pitch editors at publications our buyers actually read, and write contributor articles strong enough to publish even if LeadAdvisors were never mentioned.

You will own the full pipeline: publication research, pitching, drafting, editorial revisions, placement tracking, and repurposing each approved idea into LinkedIn, outbound, and landing-page assets.

We are looking for a writer who can earn editorial attention through strong ideas and evidence — not someone who submits generic guest posts for backlinks.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a qualified target list of trade publications, business outlets, newsletters, and contributor programs read by our ideal buyers.
  • Review each publication's official contributor guidelines before pitching or drafting.
  • Develop publication-specific pitches rooted in real business pain, not generic SEO topics.
  • Write original, publication-ready guest articles, opinion pieces, operator explainers, and founder-led thought leadership.
  • Research every material claim using credible sources and maintain an evidence ledger with URLs and verification dates.
  • Pitch editors with concise, non-promotional emails and manage follow-up, revisions, rights checks, author bios, and final proofing.
  • Adapt structure, word count, tone, disclosure rules, and link policy to each publication's requirements.
  • Repurpose each approved thesis into LinkedIn posts, owned articles, outbound email angles, and audit landing-page copy without duplicating the guest piece.
  • Maintain clean records in Notion: outlet, editor contact, pitch status, topic, evidence sources, rights terms, live URL, and next action.
  • Report weekly on pitches sent, replies, acceptances, drafts in progress, published placements, and repurposed assets.
  • Coordinate with SEO, sales, and outbound so every asset supports a buyer segment, offer angle, and appointment path.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of B2B content, thought-leadership, editorial, SEO content, journalism, or PR writing experience.
  • Portfolio of published bylined work, preferably for B2B, operations, sales, marketing, fintech, financial services, or contact-center audiences.
  • Proven ability to build a sharp point of view from research, not just write from a keyword brief.
  • Experience pitching editors and managing contributor submission and revision processes.
  • Excellent written English for U.S.-based business readers.
  • Strong research discipline — able to identify credible sources, separate evidence from opinion, and avoid unsupported claims.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: search intent, topical authority, internal linking, and ethical link acquisition.
  • Comfortable writing about lead response, missed calls, contact rate, appointment setting, CRM follow-up, QA, BPO, and customer-contact operations.
  • Strong project management habits: clean documentation, deadlines, and ownership across multiple articles and outlets.
  • Proficient in Notion, Google Workspace, and Slack. HubSpot and Ahrefs or Semrush experience is a plus.
  • Reliable remote setup with wired high-speed internet.

Nice to have:
  • Experience writing for financial-services or other regulated B2B clients.
  • Existing relationships with relevant editors, newsletters, or contributor programs.
  • Experience building content from interviews, call recordings, sales objections, or CRM data.
