About the Role:
We are looking for a Social Media Video Editor who lives and breathes short-form content. If you catch a trending sound on Monday and have a concept ready by Tuesday, you already understand what this role demands.
You will be producing Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video content that stops the scroll and drives real engagement. This is not a reactive, task-ticket role. We expect you to bring ideas, move fast, and own execution end to end.
You are comfortable using AI tools to accelerate your workflow — not intimidated by them. You stay on top of platform changes, algorithm shifts, and content trends because it genuinely excites you. You can work independently, manage your own deadlines, and deliver quality without being chased.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production:
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Concept and cut content from raw footage, screen recordings, talking-head interviews, or existing brand assets.
- Write and design on-screen text overlays, captions, and motion titles that are native to each platform's style.
- Manage multiple content pieces simultaneously and hit deadlines without follow-up.
AI Integration & Tools:
- Use AI-powered tools (CapCut AI, Runway, ElevenLabs, Adobe Firefly, or equivalents) to speed up production and enhance quality.
- Stay ahead of new AI video tools and test what improves output — bring recommendations to the team.
- Build reusable templates and workflows that make content production faster and more consistent.
Trends & Strategy:
- Monitor platform trends, viral audio, and content formats — and apply them proactively before they peak.
- Track performance data on published content and use it to inform future creative decisions.
- Stay current on algorithm changes, platform feature rollouts, and emerging short-form formats.
Collaboration:
- Work with the content manager and digital marketing team on briefs, then own execution independently.
- Maintain visual and brand consistency across all content using established guidelines.
- Provide input on content strategy, creative direction, and production priorities as the role grows.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2+ years of video editing experience with a strong short-form content portfolio (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) — portfolio or sample links required.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable professional editing tool.
- Hands-on experience using AI video, audio, or creative tools in a real production workflow.
- Solid understanding of what works natively on each platform — pacing, format, length, and style differ across Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own deadlines with minimal direction.
- Strong eye for pacing, sound design, text placement, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Reliable home setup for fully remote work — stable internet, camera, and audio if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Motion graphics skills — After Effects, Motion, or equivalent.
- Basic graphic design skills — Canva, Figma, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later, or Sprout Social.
- Experience in a BPO, digital marketing agency, or high-output content environment.
- Interest in B2B content, growth marketing, or business-focused social media storytelling.
